The BIOHK2025（ Hong Kong International Biotechnology Forum and Exhibition） kicked off on September 10, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The major event, organized by the Hong Kong Biotechnology Organization, featured speakers from over 20 countries and drew more than 5,000 participants with its extensive program of keynotes, forums, and exhibitions.
The School of Life Sciences at Tsinghua University played a key role as a co-host of the forum on “Innovative Breakthroughs of Artificial Intelligence in Life Sciences.” Professors Zhang Qiangfeng, Yang Xuerui, and Wang Tong from Tsinghua were invited speakers at the forum. In a significant recognition of the school’s contributions, Professor Zhang Qiangfeng also received the “ Life Sciences Frontier Breakthrough Award” on behalf of Tsinghua’s School of Life Sciences.
