Research interest


Synthetic Biology & Regenerative Medicine: Advancing RNA-based technologies for cellular state sensing and fate regulation, with applications in gene/cell therapy and in situ tissue regeneration/repair.

  1. Engineering synthetic gene circuits to investigate mammalian cell state dynamics and regulatory mechanisms in tumor progression and wound healing.

  2. Developing in situ regenerative strategies for lung fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and intestinal inflammation, with a focus on repair mechanisms and cell engineering.

  3. Designing rational RNA modules for controlled gene replication and expression, enabling precision vaccine development.

  4. Constructing cross-domain (prokaryotic/eukaryotic) synthetic biological systems for biomanufacturing, biotherapeutics, and artificial biosystems.
